I just want to clear up something about that last sentence. If, when you said “obedience to God’s will for my life” your intent was to include the descision to accept Jesus as your savior, then, I take no issue with that statement. You sound like a well studied & devout Christian, & I don’t doubt that you know the scripture :

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.
- John 3:16

My concern is that other readers do not get confused about salvation. Doing God’s will, keeping his commandments, & doing our best to avoid sin are all ways to find favor with God, & He blesses us for living in such a way, but it is not what gets you into Heaven. The salvation of our souls, paid for with the blood of Jesus, God’s only son. That is the way to Heaven. To repent of our sins, accept Christ as Savior, & to ask Him into our lives & hearts. This is the only way to everlasting life. It is not something that can be earned. Jesus already did that.

Ephesians 2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

John 14:6 – Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one cometh unto the Father but by me.

Doing good deeds & living a righteous life, while honorable, admirable, and blessed, do not get you into heaven. Only the salvation of Jesus can do that.

God is great my brother, i was on a blink of giving up as i have +-4 years in debt. I have always kept the faith, but sometimes its hard and i just fell like giving up.I do admit that I am the cause of the problem due to my decision taking.But I have learnt my lessons and I wish Jesus can intervene and help me out.

God has given you a beautiful spirit! It’s so great how you take the time out to help others and pray with others This article was really great. During these hardships are the times when the Lord really reveals himself, for he is developing you, like a potter molds his clay, into something that only He has envisioned. It was so great to come across this and be reminded again how ANYTHING is possible in His name if you truly believe!

Hi Marc,

As a God fearing Christian, I am very careful not to steer people in the wrong direction. I too believe in the true prosperity of the gospel (Jesus Christ) and know that God will at times put us in situations to test us and strengthen us in Him.

I am not one who is caught up on the doctrine of wealth and prosperity. At the end of the day, wealth and millions of dollars is NOT going to get me into Heaven. It’s my obedience to God’s will for my life that will get me there.

This article was written to encourage those who struggle financially…not to promote nor teach prosperity. I pray that this clears things up for you and others who may read this.

While I appreciate you praying for people; I want to ask that you be careful and not steer people in the wrong direction. I sense you yourself are caught in the doctrine of wealth and health. While I do believe in the True Prosperity Gospel (Jesus Christ), I have to share that God has already prospered us in Jesus Christ and the cross of Calvary.

Anyone reading, my prayer is that you would so cling to the cross and stand upon the promises of God; remembering that He is sovereign and faithful.

The Lord caused the Israelites to go hungry, in order that He may test them to see if they would obey and follow Him or not…

“Blessed is he who endures temptation, for afterwards he shall receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love Him” (James 1:12).

Hello my sister in Christ,

Although my only source of help is prayer, do not minimize the power of it. God has shown Himself to move and change things around when you go before Him in prayer and make your request known to Him.

Before I proceed with prayer, here are a few things I would do to come up with some money. Hopefully, there will be something that will be a blessing to you:

1) Consider selling things you no longer use or desire on ebay.com It’s a great way to make some extra money. I have used ebay.com and it’s safe and free to sign up. Learn how to sell on ebay here.

2) If you’re not comfortable with ebay, I would recommend posting ads on craigslist.org and even having a yard sale.

3) If you have a church home, talk to the pastor or someone whom you trust in the church and see if the church can help you get back on your feet.

**ChristianPF.com has an article on 23 ways to make money. I recommend you take a look at it. I’m sure it will be a blessing to you.

Say this prayer with me:

Heavenly Father I come before you asking that you bless Sandy. Lord she’s in need of a financial blessing and your word says that you give the power of receive wealth. So God I pray in Jesus name that you reveal to her that thing that will produce that wealth.

Lord, you said that instead of worrying to come before you in prayer and to make our request known to you. Lord, my request is that you will open a window of opportunity for Sandy to make more than enough money to pay her bills, tithe and to give.

Touch her Lord and if there be any worry in her heart Lord I ask that you give her your peace which trendsends all understanding. Give her peace, joy and rest in you during this season.

Lord I thank you in advance for the blessings that you will preform in Sandy’s life. I speak into it right now peace and prosperity in Jesus name and we give your name all the glory, honor and praise in advance. In Jesus name, we pray…Amen.
