You feel down and out
You have no happiness
Joy is no where to be found
No motivation to push on
No money for bills
No food for dinner
So much sadness
Even more sorrow
Great grandma, grandma, and uncle gone
Why? I needed them so
How can i go on with out them
Why am i even still here
Why them and not me
No job, no career
No love just broken heart
Don’t remember the last time
I wore a smile
The frown seems to be stuck
So much pain
Seems like theres a storm after another
I never reach the eye
One day i hear a glorious voice
It simply says “dont cry”
A smile comes upon my face
Those glorious words let me know
It aint over yet
