Praise to my most awesome, most holy master and creator and provider of all; His Glory is great in all the earth and his greatness is unsearchable and I offer him all my thanks and praise in the name of his son Jesus Christ, who sits at his right hand in Heaven for his grace, compassion and all his tender mercies towards my family and me.
Since I joined the sabbath keeping Church of God a couple of years ago my circle of friends began to shrink until eventually all that was left were probably one or two who thought I must be going quite mad and were waiting for me to have a meltdown.
Pretty much everyone disappeared, except for my parents and my Heavenly Father all because I’ve become so consumed by zeal for my God, his truth and his sanctuary. And even though I have found I need no other friend but my saviour, he still provided through the members of his church.
It’s always a pleasure to meet every sabbath after church to study his word and discuss with eachother all the challenges of the past week as well as all the marvellous ways he touched our lives – and in times of trouble, to pray together for relief from our burdens.
Sometimes when I think about how far removed I am from what I was before he touched my life I am so overjoyed I’m brought to tears because I now have the most beautiful circle of friends I could ever hope for. Hallelujah! I know it was only through the intervention of my loving holy savior and advocate Jesus Christ that I am so blessed so offer up all my praise and thanks my heart could muster… and even that is not enough. I will bless him and praise his name forever and ever.
